The EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) is an evolution of the traditional lead-acid battery, engineered for vehicles with Start-Stop systems. Compared with a conventional flooded design, it features an increased electrolyte reservoir, a higher exchange surface with the electrolyte, corrosion-resistant Pb-Ca-Sn plate grids, carbon-enhanced negative plates and reinforced protection of the electrodes - delivering stronger charge acceptance, rapid energy recovery and a longer cycle life under frequent engine starts.

The Start Stop System automatically stops the engine when the vehicle is not moving and restarts it as soon as the vehicle begins to accelerate. This technology avoids unnecessary energy loss caused by engine idling and has been proven to cut fuel consumption by 5-15%, while improving engine silence for greater driving comfort.
