The DFM series is a general-purpose battery with a 10-year design life in float service, featuring superior deep-cycle capability that has made it widely applied in UPS and solar system installations. With updated AGM valve-regulated technology and high-purity raw materials, the DFM series maintains high consistency for better performance and a reliable standby service life.
The GFM series is built on the basis of the DFM series for frequent cyclic duty - ideal for standby or frequent cyclic discharge applications in extreme environments. By adopting thicker grids, high-purity 99.997% lead, and a silica-gel electrolyte, the GFM series offers excellent recovery performance after deep discharge in frequent cycling use.
Available in 12V models from 33Ah to 250Ah, the DFM & GFM series is supplied wholesale directly from our factory.

What makes the DFM AGM series suitable for deep-cycle use?
Thick plates and high-density active material give the DFM AGM series excellent charge acceptance and fast recovery after repeated deep discharges.
How deeply can I discharge DFM AGM batteries?
A maximum depth of discharge of 80% is allowed. For the longest service life, we recommend designing the system around 50% DoD.
Which charging voltage should I apply to DFM AGM batteries?
For cyclic use, charge at 2.40-2.45 V per cell at 25 °C; for standby float use, 2.25-2.30 V per cell. Temperature compensation is recommended.
What applications is the DFM AGM series designed for?
Typical uses include solar and wind energy storage, mobility scooters, golf trolleys, floor-cleaning machines and other equipment with daily cyclic loads.
How does discharge depth affect cycle life?
The shallower the discharge, the longer the cycle life. Discharging to 30% DoD can deliver several times the cycles of a full 100% discharge.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do GEL batteries differ from AGM deep-cycle batteries?
GEL batteries use thixotropic gel electrolyte, which excels in deep cyclic service and hot climates, while AGM offers lower internal resistance and higher current output.
Can GFM GEL batteries be installed in hot climates?
Yes. The gel electrolyte immobilizes the acid completely, reducing water loss and making GFM GEL batteries a solid choice for telecom sites and solar systems in hot regions.
What charging voltage does the GFM GEL series require?
Use 2.35-2.40 V per cell at 25 °C for cyclic service and 2.25-2.30 V per cell for float. Avoid overcharging, which can form voids in the gel.
Are GFM GEL batteries suitable for traction applications?
Yes. Their stable gel structure tolerates repeated deep discharges, making them suitable for small traction equipment, cleaning machines and off-grid solar storage.
